DR WebPage is a Melbourne business specialising in domain registration, web page design and domain hosting. Each of these processes is explained in detail below.

The aim of DR WebPage is to provide high-quality, efficient internet services to local business at a competitive price.

Domain Registration

Establishing your own distinct identity on the internet is important for your potential audience to find you easily. All DR WebPage customers that register a domain name with us receive an email address that reflects their domain name.

For example, your web page address might be "your_company.com.au" and your email address might be "FredSmith@ your_company.com.au".

DR WebPage can register your domain of choice (if available), subject to AUNIC registration procedures. Note that the cost of registering an Australian domain (.com.au) is currently $137.50 (incl. GST) for a two-day turn around, and Global/US domains (.com) are currently $75 US. These prices are set by other organisations and are beyond our control.

• DR WebPage can act on your behalf at no charge, and bill you for the cost of the registration, if your domain is hosted with us.
• If your domain is not hosted with DR WebPage, an administration fee of $33.00 (incl. GST) applies in addition to the AUNIC registration fees.

Note that for your domain to be hosted by DR WebPage, our Technical Services Group must register it on your behalf. You cannot independently register your domain with DR WebPage.

Web-Page Design

DR WebPage produces high-quality and efficient web sites based on information and content that you provide. We use standard HTML, Macromedia Flash, PHP and JavaScript to give your website a winning edge.

DR WebPage can produce a 5-page website featuring the following information:

• index page
• contacts/"about us" page
• product information
• professional services

…plus any other business category you nominate, using information which you provide, pertinent to your business operations. This can be delivered to you on CD-ROM or automatically transferred to your website, if hosted by us.

Domain Hosting

Once you have registered your domain name and have had your web site designed, you will need somewhere to host your web site to make it appear 'live' to your customers, suppliers and prospects using an address like "www.yourbusiness.com.au"

We can research available domain names that meet your requirements.

Secondary DNS

DR WebPage can provide Secondary DNS services for other domains. Contact us for pricing on Secondary DNS services.

What DR WebPage does not provide

Please note that DR WebPage currently DOES NOT provide the following services:

• A“Point Of Presence” for internet access
• “CGI BIN” or Microsoft IIS Services (e.g. ASP) functionality
• On-line billing or account access
• Telnet access

These services may be introduced at a later time. This website will contain more information on new services as they are introduced.

DR WebPage may provide web site traffic reporting for a one-off fee on request; please ask your DR WebPage sales consultant for more information.
