SPOONFUL

4PM – FREE ENTRY!

Spoonful return to The Rainbow Hotel on Sunday 6th December for another unforgettable afternoon of blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

A fixture of Melbourne’s live music scene for decades, Spoonful have built a loyal following the old-fashioned way — by putting on great shows, year after year. They’ve played everywhere, shared stages with the best, and earned a reputation as one of the most loved and enduring bands on the local blues and roots circuit.

Featuring brothers Andre Warhurst (guitar & vocals) and Kit Warhurst (drums & vocals), alongside David Lord (keys, harp & vocals) and Paul Winstanley (bass), Spoonful deliver a rich blend of blues, rhythm & blues, soul and rock ‘n’ roll, mixing outstanding originals with carefully chosen classics.

There’s a warmth and authenticity to Spoonful that audiences instantly connect with. Whether it’s a dancefloor full of happy punters, a singalong, or simply a room full of people soaking it all in, they have a knack for turning a Sunday afternoon into something memorable.

As The Age’s Michael Dwyer once wrote:

“When Spoonful takes the stage, it’s so cool that people in the crowd elbow each other.”

And after all these years, that still rings true.
