For more than three decades the name Collard Greens & Gravy has stood as a beacon of authentic blues in Australia. Formed in Melbourne in 1995, this multi-award-winning, ARIA-recognised outfit has evolved over the years but continues to deliver the same gritty, harmonica-driven grooves and foot-stomping country-blues that feel like the heartbeat of a Mississippi juke-joint.

With Ian Collard’s blistering harp and vocals at the helm, they’ve earned a place in the blues pantheon — representing Australia at the International Blues Challenge, picking up awards at home (including Best Blues & Roots Album at the 2001 ARIAs for More Gravy!), and staying true to the raw, electric delta and hill-country sounds of the greats like Little Walter, Muddy Waters and Sonny Boy Williamson.
