Forming in Naarm/Melbourne after bonding over a shared love of Duane Allman and Dicky Betts’ lead work, Creek are four “hippie-looking blokes” with Telecasters, determined to make some noise on this planet. Kicking things off in 2016, the millennials have branched outwards to nurture their intriguing sound; blending together elements of psychedelic/progressive rock, funk, and jazz, with an underlying nod to late 60’s/early 70’s pop & southern “jam” rock. Renowned for their wild rhythms, soulful lyrics, and captivating guitars, it’s in the band’s nature to deliver a mesmerising and electrifying experience.
