Spoonful are back at The Rainbow on Sunday 21st February for another cracking afternoon of blues, soul, rhythm & blues and rock ‘n’ roll.

One of our favourite regulars, Spoonful have been a fixture of Melbourne’s live music scene for decades — and anyone who’s caught them at The Rainbow knows exactly why we love having them back.

Featuring brothers Andre Warhurst (guitar & vocals) and Kit Warhurst (drums & vocals), alongside David Lord (keys, harp & vocals) and Paul Winstanley (bass), these guys are seriously good musicians who know how to get a room moving.

Expect great songs, plenty of groove and a dancefloor that rarely stays empty for long.

As The Age’s Michael Dwyer once wrote:

“When Spoonful takes the stage, it’s so cool that people in the crowd elbow each other.”

And after all these years, that still rings true.
