The Dolphins – Born out of the kaleidoscopic bedroom studio of vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Sonny Campbell, The Dolphins from Melbourne have arrived in full bloom with their very own brand of swirling, sparkling psychedelia. The band’s use of repetition, drones and textures harken back to Creation Records’ shoegaze-ing heyday, it’s spiritual godfathers Spacemen 3, and German forebears of exploration, Can and Nuel. Combined with Campbell’s keen sense of melody, Rigel Maple’s guitar genius, and reliable low-end drive from Adam Markmann, The Dolphins craft lush and memorable 1-chord rock with an urgency that begs to be played again and again

Bollard – Hailing from the suburbs of Northern Melbourne, quartet-cum quintet Bollard began playing shows in 2017 mixing post-punk sounds from idols of their youth with the sounds of the thriving scene in Melbourne. Bollard’s sound is the result of a myriad of conflicting inspirations, most notably The Go-Betweens, Sonic Youth and Pavement.
